Under a decision taken in February 2025, Italy will run its national "Bollino" system alongside EU-FMD verification until 8 February 2027, after which full FMD compliance becomes mandatory. That same month, Greece brought its Hellenic Medicines Verification System (HMVS) online, connecting it to the EU Hub (EMVO).
